One of a kind bracelet with an Ivory colored sea turtle bead and a powder glass African feature beads, each one is unique. This one has a rust, ivory, blue & black design and is hand strung by us with pale peachy/pink recycled glass beads, teal Ashanti glass saucer beads and sea jasper accent beads finished with our Live by Water Make Waves logo tag. The African power glass beads are made by the people of Krobo Mountain (Ghana, West Africa ), resembling old Venetian FANCY trade beads. These interesting beads are made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then into molds in order to create them. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of colored glass powder and water, which is applied using a thin wooden stalk. They are cooked a second time to fix the design. A stretch bracelet, fits a 7 to 7.5" wrist. It comes packaged in a reusable jewelry pouch with an enclosure that describes the bracelet. Due to the nature of the recycled glass beads colors may vary slightly. Shown below alone and stacked with some of our other bracelets.
