If you’re looking to return or exchange your order we want you to be happy with your purchases, we're here to help! We offer exchanges within 10 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for store credit or exchange for different product. Unfortunately, if it is past 10 days from the day your package was delivered we are unable to do a return or exchange. 

Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:

  • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
  • Returned items must have tags (if they came with them) still on and be returned in original packaging
  • Returned items must be in original new condition and have no visible signs of wear or use
  • If we determine a product is defective we will provide a refund or credit

To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:

  • Contact us by email, your email must include: name, address, phone number, specific reason for the return and order number which can be found in your confirmation or delivery email from us.  It's very important that we get your order number to verify the purchase. Please send pictures if an item is defective or damaged.
  • Do not return the productuntil you hear back from us with a return order authorization number
  • Once you receive the return authorization number you can ship your item back following the shipping instructions below, mark the return authorization number on the outside of the package, 

Exchanges, Credits or Refunds (if applicable for defective items only)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange, credit or refund.  If you are approved, then you will either receive a replacement, credit or refund. If a refund, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days. If an exchange your replacement will ship out within 5-7 days, if in stock, if not we will notify you of the time frame. If a credit it will be processed and emailed to you within 3 days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and send your item to: LIVE BY WATER, 36 Running Pine Rd, Westbrook, CT 06498, United States. 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund, unless the product is deemed defective. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
